La Maison Champs-Élysées, a Parisian hotel whose interior was designed by Maison Martin Margiela. Based on photographs taken during an actual stay, we will decipher Margiela's design philosophy, which is also reflected in his clothing, through the white chairs, trompe-l'oeil, reproductions, lighting, and the expressions of the floors and walls.

Using Yohji Yamamoto's "Making Clothes" as a starting point, this article examines the "volume" and "drape" found in Yohji Yamamoto's clothing. Drawing on clothes actually seen at the 2014 Paris Men's Collection and items from the author's own collection, the article explores the relationship between the body and clothing.

Kenji Miyazawa, Kohara-sha publishing house, folk art, café culture, Morioka Reimen (cold noodles), Jajamen (noodles with garlic), Fukuda Bread. While walking through the streets of Morioka, we will explore how past cultures are being passed down to present-day life.

I visited the "NIGO® and Handeishi" exhibition held at the Ishimizu Museum in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture. Through the tea bowls of Kawakita Handeishi collected by NIGO® and 25 bowls he created himself, I reflected on collecting, pottery making, the freedom to break away from form, and the inheritance of culture.

From the national treasure Matsumoto Castle to the traditional storehouses of Nakamachi Street, Matsumoto folk furniture, and the Matsumoto City Museum of Art showcasing Yayoi Kusama's works, the author, a native of Nagano Prefecture, walks through the city of Matsumoto, traversing architecture, folk art, and contemporary art, and introduces the overlapping cultures of the city.

Visit the national treasure Inuyama Castle and stroll through the castle town overlooking the Kiso River. From your stay at Hotel Indigo Inuyama Yurakuen to the Momotaro statue at Inuyama-Yuen Station and the highlights within the castle, this article introduces the charm of Inuyama with accompanying photos.

We visited the national treasure tea room "Joan," which was relocated to Yurakuen Garden in Inuyama, Aichi Prefecture. We will introduce this two-and-a-half-mat tea room, left behind by Oda Urakusai, the younger brother of Oda Nobunaga, discussing its architecture, the tea ceremony, our experience at Yurakuen Garden, and even referencing the film "Sen no Rikyu: Honkakubo Ibun."

From Kitain Temple to the traditional storehouse-lined streets, the Toki no Kane (Time Bell), the Yamazaki Museum of Art, and the former Yamazaki family villa, this is a record of a walk through Kawagoe, the "Little Edo," tracing its history related to the Tokugawa family, its architecture spanning from the Edo period to the modern era, and its long-established food culture.

I took a one-night, two-day trip from Tokyo to Chichibu. I stayed at NIPPONIA Chichibu Monzenmachi, enjoyed a dinner featuring local ingredients and Ichiro's Malt whiskey, and visited Chichibu Shrine, Mitsumine Shrine, Paris, and Taizando Cafe. I'll share my trip with you through photos.

A book review of "Tradition and Innovation of the Long-Established Brand 'Toraya'." Based on my experience at Toraya Karyo Kyoto Ichijo Store during the Gion Festival in Kyoto, I consider the experiential value created by the five senses, the season, history, and customer service.
