-Everyday life depends on peace-
point
Peace is a state of being free from hostility.
- The use of force is prohibited.
Immanuel Kant
1724-1804
Founder of German ideal philosophy
Kant is best known for his three critiques: *Critique of Pure Reason*, *Critique of Practical Reason*, and *Critique of Judgment*. He advocated critical philosophy and brought about what is known as the "Copernican revolution" in epistemology. This book was written in his later years, after he had completed the three critiques. At 138 pages, it is easy to read, and it might be a good starting point for tackling the three critiques. It discusses common sense things about peace.
